When I got this game back in 1991 it looked like another average piece of shareware but as soon as I started playing, I knew it was something more special! Ken Franklin's games are all based on chance, not in any sense of gambling, but in wonderful frustration. One Arm Battle looks like a coin slot operated one armed bandit but its gameplay has been improved many times over.

The game can be played by up to 4 human opponents or at the very least, 1 human player against the computer. When it's their turn, players draw cards off a deck that give you certain goals. For instance, a 'Grand Force' card means you HAVE to lock in all the positions of the one armed bandit. The odds are against you, but if you succeed you get a bonus $1000. Other cards allow you to continue to roll or stop when you reach a certain amount of money, 'Bop Till You Drop' when you don't have to risk any money on your current turn and the painful 'Out of Order' cards.

Just playing the game will make you familiar with its rules...and addiction. It's great fun to play with friends. You'll all be chanting the voice-overs even after the game has finished!

The game was designed specifically for System 5, but runs on System 6.01 without any problems.
