Solarian was originally a Macintosh game, became the addiction of IIGS user David Tolson and so decided to port the game despite taunts from his Mac user friend that it wasn't powerful enough. The end result is a great example of showing how a 2.6Mhz IIGS can keep up with a 16Mhz Mac!
The game is basically a more complicated version of space invaders, involving power-ups and shields and is played with the mouse.
There is no operating system on disk, so you'll need to launch it from a boot disk.
