discQuest was yet another great idea to stretch the usefulness of the Apple II. Taking advantage of the discPassage engine behind many early informational CD-ROM titles, discQuest allows IIGS users to access the multimedia on over a dozen CD-ROMs.
The archive now includes version 1.3 and 1.4, which support image display with the Second Sight card, the upshot of which being that you can now see the images on any discPassage CD-ROM as they were originally intended, without the limitations of the IIGS native super hi-res graphics mode. I remember reading somewhere that the number of discPassage titles discQuest supports is increased with the newer versions as well.
