  Adding to the Control Panel

  Hi All, Can someone explain how you add programs to the Control Panel?
  Seems every System disk I put in has a different set of items in the Control Panel.
  I would like to build a set that really works for me.
  Appreciate the advise.

  Two issues, please help

  Hi All, Just enjoying my new (to me) IIgs. Two quick questions, first I am running my System 6.0.4 off of a 3.5 drive. So How come when I change the color of my trash can it does not stay changed when every other icon does? Second, I used "Flashboot" for a while and it gave me much more functionality, but was wonky. But it did allow me to add items to my Apple Menu no problem. But with the System disk when I stick an item in the Desk'aces, folder they do not show up. What file do I need to add the the system to make them active?
