Hi Folks,
My name is Jake and would just like to introduce myself on here. Im trying to re-live my apple days when i had a apple ][+. Ive recently added KEGS32 (//gs emulator) on my windows PC.
My questions are as follows:
I'd like to know if there are any online documentations on learning to use GSOS system 6.0.1, as well as the apple ][gs.
Programming; how can i program with this OS and is there a way to switch from that OS to dos 3.3 using the above emulator.
IRC webchats? tried going into A2Central, and #a2chat but that seems to be dead, anybody know of uptodate IRC channels/servers can i can converse with like minded people?
.DSK, .SHK, .SEA from PC to KEGS32, how can i transfer these to this Emulator and make them work on the GSOS?
thanks for any help.

Welcome aboard Jake!
I've found some complete manuals of System 6 from both Apple Computer and Quality Computers in PDF format:
http://www.apple-iigs.info/doc/docos.htm
A lot of programming resources can be found for sale on Syndicomm:
http://store.syndicomm.com/
You can also check out the Applications -> Programming section of this site to see what development tools are available.
Normally, you would just reboot the IIGS to switch between GS/OS or DOS 3.3 (or any other operating system). However, John Maclean has written some shareware utilities that I'd like to investigate when I have the time, which allow running DOS 3.3 applications from System 6.0.1. Prosel, available on the Applications -> Utilities page, includes a program called DOSMaster which allows you to put DOS 3.3 programs onto ProDOS volumes and launched from ProDOS and GS/OS.
I'd say you're only chance for IRC is the A2 Central Chat!
To move files to and fro between Windows and your emulated Apple IIGS, use CiderPress. This program allows you to open the 2image, raw and disk copy disk image formats that emulators use, and copy files to and from this images to your Windows desktop.
