If you're puzzled by RAM, accelerators or disc controllers then chances are someone will have the answer to your questions.

I'm looking to expand the RAM in my ROM 01 IIgs without spending an arm and a leg. Does anyone have suggestions on where to look to pick some up? I currently have 1.25MB (with a fully populated Apple RAM expansion card which I would swap out).
Thanks!

Unfortunately I can't find it on eBay currently, but someone had started a little production line of 4 meg RAM cards that were relatively inexpensive. I can't remember who was doing it, only that the cards weren't DMA compatible (i.e. they won't work or won't work as well with RAM fast SCSI cards). Ideal given that you're not likely to require any more RAM than 4.25meg on the IIGS.
The other alternative is the Sirius RAM card made by Tony Diaz:

It includes 8 meg of RAM but is a little pricey.

I remember seeing those 4MB cards too, but I can't remember where. I vaguely remember seeing that they were out of stock on their site. The search continues!
Cheers,

It looks like Briel will have more in stock this month for $59. Good news!

Great news!
Given that all cards that support compact flash solid state drives don't use DMA anyway (except for the MicroDrive Turbo?) these cards would complement a compact flash based storage IIGS very nicely indeed!
