I have a bunch of GS disks including tons of my own data and programming, which i'd like to be able to copy and preserve and be able to access them with an emulator on either my pc, the internet, or mobile phone. The games i can always just download but all the stuff i have that was made by myself and others i know i'd have to copy and preserve myself.
I'm thinking of trying the microdrive turbo. if i do that then i need to see if anyone has released a program to read the cf card and make a floppy disk image file i can use with an emulator. or if someone has made a program to create a disk image file directly from the GS.
i got an old mac g3 beige tower, and the drive is supposed to read the GS disks, but i recall having some trouble with that and so i never did this project.
ultimately i'd like to just get all my floppy disks made into disk image files so i can use them with an emulator on a pc...
anybody have any thoughts on the best way to achieve this?
