  I have every kind of system and otherwise disk image available for the IIgs. Every version of GS/OS, ProDOS, and a bunch of games that are freeware or abandonware, from here and some other web sites. Amazon has a DIN8 to DE9 (DB9?) adapter cable for $12.75 + S&H. I already have a DB9 USB adapter. I haven't yet read everything on ADTPro. Assuming the adapter works on the G4, I see the process as:
  
  1) Connect the G4 to the IIgs using the aforementioned cable and adapter.
  2) Use ADTPro Host to boot up the IIgs.
  3) Transfer the .dsk/.2mg/.sea/.d13 etc. files to the IIgs.
  4) Write said files to the appropriate size diskettes.
  
  The Kurzweil .dsk images are 140KB. The AppleDOS are 113.7KB .d13 and 140KB .dsk. The GS/OS are 800KB .2mg. The ProDOS are various sizes of .shk files, up to 15.5KB.
  I am not quite sure about steps 3 and 4. Maybe once the IIgs is booted up, it can feed from the images on the G4 and write the diskettes. Or would it be the G4 controlling the IIgs to write to the diskettes? Again, I haven't read everything, so I have that learning process to go through. If all I need is the $12.75 cable, that is what I consider a bargain. If I have to buy a box of 5.25" diskettes, feh. No big. If 3.5" will do, all the better.
  Back to the ADTPro instructions. In lieu of other things I should be doing, but this is more interesting. I am like House and Holmes. I need a problem buzzing around my brain to keep me off the hard stuff.

  The archive is mostly made up of the manuals in PDF format, but the original .dsk images are sitting there as well.
  
  The software IS DOS 3.3 based, meaning you'll have to run it from floppy disk.
  
  Although, I have been recently playing around with a program called DOS 3.3 Launcher v2.2 which CAN (but not always) allow you to install DOS 3.3 programs on 3.5" disk or hard drives (or newer solid state storage devices for the Apple II).
  
  But let's just continue to help you get ADTPro working first :-)
